A fantastic pattern from The Fly Fiend. I took a couple liberties to put this pattern into, what I think, will fish really well as a euro nymph.
What got my attention was the flash peacock body - my local fish seem to really be aggressive on that color in the spring, as a killer mayfly imitation it’s a superb combo.
I swapped out the hackle collar for dun ostrich herl. I like the motion I get with that material.
I can’t imagine this one not being a super productive pattern.
