Maton was a culmination of of a couple different patterns I have been playing around with all year. The final link was changing out the traditional Perdigon Coq de Leon tail for a chartreuse tag. Maybe it’s not really a Perdigon with that tail, but it will catch fish. Lefty Kreh said “it ain’t no us if it’s not chartreuse”. He was right. Toss this one in the pond too because the bluegills eat it up.
