This pattern has a bit of provenance in that I tied this one a few years ago as a trial pattern for a Blue Line trip. Yellow always seems to dial in in the Appalachians. It turned out to be an excellent fly for the day. Talking on the way home, my Burke County friend asked me to time some more of those “Yaller Pearl looking” flies for him.
