I can’t remember quite where I picked this pattern up at, out west, maybe Durango on the Animas, but remember it didn’t have a name. One of the greatest things about fly fishing to me is those moments where two solitary anglers meet up, take a moment engage and exchange a little knowledge, wisdom, or flat out lies. In this case, the gent that floated it to me said it had caught fish in the last 3 streams he fished with it. So here we are. I’ve caught fish on this one on more than 3 streams, I’m keeping the name.

Thanks for your interest in Jacobs Fork Fly Tying. All flies are custom tied to order, and I will make every effort to get them completed as quickly as possible to get you on the water.

I typically tie orders in a queue format based on when they are received. Turnaround time varies from about 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on volume and complexity of orders.

If you have any special requests or questions regarding turnaround time, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
