Stocker Stalkers

$2.50

Hook Size #14 #12 #10

Color Black White Olive

A few years back I was helping out at a tournament as a monitor and was gifted this pattern. It really looks like nothing from a match the hatch standpoint, but the stockers just murder it. With Delayed Harvest opening soon, I’ve been stocking up my own boxes and thought I would make these available. I think some of the success is that it’s not super heavy. Brass and lead for head weight rather than tungsten, gets it a good swing in the mid column or fished as a dropper under a big dry. Tied on a barbless competition style Caddis hook, it has enough flash to get noticed and tagged when other flies are not productive.

Thanks for your interest in Jacobs Fork Fly Tying. All flies are custom tied to order, and I will make every effort to get them completed as quickly as possible to get you on the water.

I typically tie orders in a queue format based on when they are received. Turnaround time varies from about 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on volume and complexity of orders.

If you have any special requests or questions regarding turnaround time, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
