Growing up, the old wisdom was that black and red were a Trout’s favorite color. I think that’s because there wasn’t much beyond those. Anyone that’s fished a Royal pattern knows red is effective. Sangria was one of my first Perdigons using the Holo tinsel and a little chartreuse hotspot is always a good idea. This fly has always performed.
