Egan’s Red Dart is a monster fly pattern. It performs under any condition and it’s become the “ Olive Bugger” of my Euro box. That means if they won’t take an Olive Bugger, time to go get a beer.
I love the color combo, so why not add it to the Perdigon arsenal. Put a few in your box to fish as a point below a dart or smaller as a dropper. I won’t hesitate to tag it off a dry either. Give it a try!
