I love this classic pattern, it’s really pretty simple but very effective as a Euro. Dark Hares Ear body with a few turns of partridge soft hackle for some excellent action in the water. Toss in a tungsten bead copper bead to get it down with a subtle flash, and CDL tailing to stay true to euro roots and you got a winner. I’ve heard by good account this pattern is a slayer on the Firehole.
