Jakes Pink Squirrel

Spinning some spiky squirrel dubbing is a common theme in a lot of my patterns. This pattern looks buggy and is well suited to Euro patterns to trap the odd micro bubble that give trout the green light to eat the protein snack. Pink has been a winner the last couple of years, it seems to perform when other flies drift by. So I thought I’d try this combo and I’m pretty happy with results. Spent a day this fall giving them a good soaking as a 14/16 tandem rig and was not disappointed.

Thanks for your interest in Jacobs Fork Fly Tying. All flies are custom tied to order, and I will make every effort to get them completed as quickly as possible to get you on the water.

I typically tie orders in a queue format based on when they are received. Turnaround time varies from about 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on volume and complexity of orders.

If you have any special requests or questions regarding turnaround time, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
