This was a fly i messed around with a few years back, and it really got overtaken by some other patterns. I found myself in some high water this spring and used this on a drop shot rig in deeper pools. It produced several fish including the best rainbow of the trip, and seemed to be the go to fly this spring. The iridescent shellback, dubbing hotspot and a body of my own UV dubbing blend make it a buggy morsel waiting to be taken.

Thanks for your interest in Jacobs Fork Fly Tying. All flies are custom tied to order, and I will make every effort to get them completed as quickly as possible to get you on the water.

I typically tie orders in a queue format based on when they are received. Turnaround time varies from about 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on volume and complexity of orders.

If you have any special requests or questions regarding turnaround time, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
