Blowtorch

Hook Size #18 #16 #14 #12 #10 #8

Another masterpiece from Devin Olsen, this fly is one of my favorites. I’ve tried some variants in hackle but always come back to black. In the smaller size, this makes a great dropper, or fish them on the swing like a wet. This is one of my “end of the drift” flies- in that the take seems to happen as the drift dies and the line tightens and the flys start to come off the bottom.

Thanks for your interest in Jacobs Fork Fly Tying. All flies are custom tied to order, and I will make every effort to get them completed as quickly as possible to get you on the water.

I typically tie orders in a queue format based on when they are received. Turnaround time varies from about 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on volume and complexity of orders.

If you have any special requests or questions regarding turnaround time, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.
